RRB NTPC Vacancy – Posts, Cut off of CBT-1 & CBT-2, Educational qualification, Medical Standard, Documents verification & Zone Wise Details with Salaries

 

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released (CEN.1/2019) the RRB NTPC vacancy for the post of Station Master (old Assistant station master or ASM), Traffic Assistant, Commercial Apprentice, Traffic Apprentice, Goods Guard (GD) etc. all over India. Being one of the most demanding jobs in India as Non technical popular categories (NTPC), 21 RRB has received 1.26 cores of applications for 35,281 different railway posts.

 

The Railway Recruitment Board released the notification on 28th February 2019 for CEN 01/2019 RRB NTPC exam. Against a total of 35,281 vacancies, RRBs have received a total of apx. 1,26,30,885 Applications for NTPC 24678 Graduate posts  and 10603 undergraduate (10+2) posts,

    RRB official Notice for CBT-1 Revised Result on 30.03.2022

    1. The 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) was conducted from 28th December 2020 to 31st July 2021 by Railway Recruitment Boards for the posts of NTPC against CEN 01/2019.

    2. In supersession of the CBT1 results published during January 2022, the candidates bearing the Roll Numbers listed herein under have been provisionally shortlisted to appear in the 2nd Stage CBT. The candidates have been shortlisted as per the merit in 1st stage CBT duly considering their option of post in the pay level. The Roll Numbers of the provisionally qualified candidates for 2nd stage CBT are arranged horizontally in ascending order and not in order of merit.

    3. It may also be noted that the Roll number of a candidate will appear only at one Pay level even if the candidate is shortlisted for more than one pay level. This has been done to ensure that the same roll number is not repeated at more than one pay level and uniqueness of roll number is maintained. Candidates may please check their shortlist status for various 7th CPC levels for 2nd Stage CBT by logging in through the Score Card link provided on the official website of RRBs duly entering their Registration Number and Date of Birth.

    4. The candidates already shortlisted for a particular level in the result published in January 2022 are deemed to have been shortlisted for that level.

    5. Separate 2nd Stage CBT will be conducted for each of the 7th CPC Level (Level 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6) notified in CEN No.01/2019. All posts falling within same level of 7th CPC will have a common 2nd stage CBT.

    6. The 2nd Stage CBT for the posts under each level for the provisionally qualified candidates will be scheduled in due course. All these candidates shall be advised through the official website of RRBs / SMS / Email to download their Exam City Intimation about 10 days prior to the 2nd Stage CBT. The e-call letter will be available for download 4 days prior to CBT date.

    7. The candidature of all the qualified candidates for 2nd Stage CBT is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled, at any stage of recruitment or thereafter, in case of any inconsistency/deficiency in the data furnished or any malpractice on part of candidates coming to the notice of RRB. It may be noted that merely calling a candidate for 2nd Stage CBT does not entitle him/her in any way to an appointment in the Railways.


  • Railway suspends RRB NTPC CBT-1 result for the time being after protests by aspirants on ground of CBT-1 results not given 20 times unique candidates for CBT-2. Aspirants Demand 1 candidate 1 results while Railway NTPC CBT-1 results has declared 3.84 lakhs results instead of 7.05 lakhs candidates.
  • RRB NTPC 2019 exam began on 28th December 2020 in phase wise CBT-1 with covid-19 guidelines (1st phase) and concluded on 31st July 2021 (7th phase).
  • The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has redistributed the upgraded RRB NTPC 2021 (CEN 01/2019) vacancies (now 35281)  in 21 Indian Railway Board.  
  • RRB has released the RRB NTPC 2021 CBT-1 exam answer keys ( from 16th to 23rd August 2021) on its regional/ zonal websites. 

 

2. Post wise Vacancy

 

As per the revised redistribution of vacancies for CEN 1/2019 of RRB. the Indian Railways was opened for 35,208 (CEN.NO 1/2019) vacancies for the posts of NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) through Railway NTPC 2021 exam. However, the number was revised  on 12.01.2022 to 35,281.
