Clarification regarding Minimum prescribed
educational qualification for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Loco
Pilot in Level-2 in Indian railway new vacancy is filled through RRB (railway recruitment board). dated 11.12.2023
(i) Assistant Loco Pilot (Diesel & Electric or alp electrical and alp mechanical) - Advance Correction Slip No 284 Para 137(2) (i) Qualifications etc. for direct recruitment will be as under:-
Educational:- Matriculation pass (10th) plus
(a) ITI in specified trades/Act Apprenticeship,
OR
(b) Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/ Automobile Engineering in lieu of ITI.
Note:- Specified trades for the purpose of(a) above are as follows :-
A. Fitter
B. Electrician
C. Instrument Mechanic
D. MillWright Maintenance Mechanic
E. Mechanic (Radio & TV)
F. Electronic Mechanic
G. Mechanic (Motor Vehicle)
H. Wireman
I. Tractor Mechanic
J. Armature & Coil Winder
K. Mechanic (Dieset)
L. Heat Engine
M. Turner
N. Machinist
O. Refrigeration & AC Mechanic
Note : (l) Combination of various streams
of trades of Engineering disciplines from a recognized lnstitution in lieu of
ITI will be allowed.
(2) Degree (B.tech) in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.

(i) सहायक लोको पायलट (डीजल और इलेक्ट्रिक या एएलपी इलेक्ट्रिकल और एएलपी मैकेनिकल) - अग्रिम सुधार पर्ची संख्या 284 पैरा 137(2) (i) सीधी भर्ती के लिए योग्यताएं आदि निम्नानुसार होंगी: -
शैक्षिक:- मैट्रिक पास (10th) प्लस
(ए) निर्दिष्ट ट्रेडों/एक्ट अप्रेंटिसशिप में आईटीआई,
या
(बी) आईटीआई के बदले मैकेनिकल/इलेक्ट्रिकल/इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स/ऑटोमोबाइल इंजीनियरिंग में डिप्लोमा।
नोट:- उपरोक्त (ए) के प्रयोजन के लिए निर्दिष्ट ट्रेड इस प्रकार हैं:-

बी. इलेक्ट्रीशियन
सी. उपकरण मैकेनिक
डी. मिलराइट रखरखाव मैकेनिक
ई. मैकेनिक (रेडियो एवं टीवी)
एफ. इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मैकेनिक

आई. ट्रैक्टर मैकेनिक
जे. आर्मेचर और कुंडल वाइन्डर

ध्यान दें: (एल) आईटीआई के बदले किसी मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान से इंजीनियरिंग विषयों के ट्रेडों की विभिन्न धाराओं के संयोजन की अनुमति दी जाएगी।
(2) इंजीनियरिंग में डिप्लोमा के स्थान पर उपरोक्त इंजीनियरिंग विषयों में डिग्री (बी.टेक) भी स्वीकार्य होगी।
