150 मदों का माध्य 45 प्राप्त हुआ था। यदि गणना करते समय, दो मदों को गलत लिखा गया हो, जैसे कि 38 और 46 के बजाय 83 और 76, तो सही माध्य ज्ञात कीजिए।

Ques- The mean of 150 items was found to be 45.  If while calculating, two items are wrongly written, say 83 and 76 instead of 38 and 46, then find the correct mean.

A)44.5   B)44      C)43.5    D)43

Solution:-

Given 

Total items = 150

Mean of 150 items is 45

Total Number is 150 x 45 = 6750

Error in two digit wrong calculation = 75 

Total mean changed due to error 75 / 150 = 0.5

New mean is = 45 - 0.5 = 44.5 Answer.

Option -A right Answer (Mean = 44.5)
